You’ll take ownership of mechanical building services planned maintenance tasks and site operations, ensuring HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you’ll oversee project performance, compliance, and the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The Role – Mechanical Engineer * Manage and coordinate all site-based mechanical building services activities * Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, testing, and installations across commercial and residential properties * Ensure all statutory and compliance requirements (fire, water hygiene, HVAC, F-Gas, etc.) are met * Supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety The Successful Mechanical Engineer Will Have: * BTEC / HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or City & Guilds equivalent * Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a mechanical building services role * Excellent leadership, organisation, and client-facing skills For immediate consideration, please contact Tom Jeffries quoting TJS2085.
