AAK are looking for a diligent and skilled Process Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the manufacturing process of our plant-based oils, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
1. Ensure the safe and effective running of the line, ensuring operations are carried out according to the relevant SOPs and safety procedures.
2. Set up, maintain, and operate the production line to correct standards - ensuring food safety, H&S, and GMP standards are maintained.
3. Complete actions derived from the identification of line losses, including identifying and implementing improvements to the operation.
4. Perform maintenance duties and changeovers effectively, including carrying out AM activities to scheduled plans.
5. Maintain accurate production paperwork.
6. Participate in HACCP studies, ensuring CCPs are controlled correctly and all products leaving the department meet specifications.
7. Experience working within the food industry with good knowledge of food safety, quality, and H&S standards.
8. Experience in a similar role.
9. Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques (e.g., Lean, 6S).
10. IOSH training is desirable.
11. Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes and plant is desirable.
12. Passionate candidates with a 'can do' attitude.
13. Good problem-solving skills with a flexible and reliable approach.
14. Computer literate.
15. Strong communication skills.
16. Able to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
17. High attention to detail.
18. Able to manage and prioritize deadlines.
