GSL Education are currently seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join as a Primary Classroom Support in Worthing this September. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a vital part in their day-to-day learning and development.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll be working alongside class teachers to provide hands-on classroom support. From helping pupils stay on track to supporting learning activities and encouraging positive behaviour, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities as a TA:
* Provide general classroom support to help pupils stay focused and engaged.
* Assist with group work, learning tasks, and individual support when needed.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support behaviour management and promote pupil well-being.
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to meet the needs of all learners.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
* A patient, proactive, and flexible attitude.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* An up-to-date CV (covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained).
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
