£45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global equipment manufacturer. Reporting to the design manager and working as part of a team you will help provide support to the wider design team

The role
* Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation and improve existing designs.
* Produce Bill of Materials and update documentation.
* Conduct 3D models and detailed drawings
* Design modification to ensuring continuous improvement of existing products.
* Design of a range of heavy manufacturing equipment
* Customer interaction, supply chain & production support
The Person
* 5 years' design experience gained within heavy manufacturing
* Experience using SolidWorks
* Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
