Potts Print UK is a high-quality print manufacturer based in Cramlington, Northumberland. We are the largest privately-owned printing company in the North of England.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our Logistics team. This role is integral to ensuring smooth operational processes and providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for data entry, and the ability to analyse information effectively. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 08:30 – 17:00, Monday – Friday, from our HQ site in Cramlington, Northumberland. Please note that this is an onsite role and we will not be considering this as hybrid working.

Previous printing industry experience is not essential but you must have strong communication, organisation and computer skills.

The Role

* Goods In Management - Checking goods in paperwork against P.O's and adding it to the system.
* Stock Allocation - Checking paper stock deliveries against P.O's and assigning it to the correct machines.
* Courier Coordination - Communication with couriers via telephone and email for up-to-date information on deliveries.
* Despatch Documentation - Producing delivery notes for jobs to be despatched locally / countrywide and internationally.
* Courier Labelling - Producing courier labels to despatch jobs countrywide / internationally using various couriers and courier systems (working from spreadsheets provided).
* Proof of Delivery Logging - Collecting and logging POD's onto the system for the company to be able to keep up to date with completed jobs.
* Procurement - Purchasing consumable / non-consumable items for the business from third parties.
* Purchase Order Management - Raising and completing P.O's for jobs within the business.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and address any operational challenges.

Skills

* Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
* Clear and efficient communication with clients and team members, demonstrating excellent phone and email etiquette.
* Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team as well as independently.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork. Join us as an Operations Associate and play a key role in enhancing our operational efficiency while delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Salary is national minimum wage based on age but can be negotiable on experience.
