The successful candidate for this role will support and develop IT systems across all Trust sites, ensuring reliable access to technology and network stability for staff and students. This role has a strong focus on leading staff and improving IT processes to enhance service delivery across the Trust.
Main duties include:
* Provide support and development of IT infrastructure and associated peripherals across Trust Academies and the Core Team, following best practice methodologies.
* Operate at a senior level within the ICT team to enhance services Trust-wide, including mentoring and supporting junior technicians with complex issues.
* Line manage ICT Technicians, Apprentices, and Work Experience students. Ensuring cover & high-quality support across sites by proactively identifying and resolving issues using helpdesk, remote support, and monitoring tools.
* Lead key ICT projects, including managing communications with third-party suppliers and support providers.
Salary – Grade 6, SCP 11-19 (£27,269 – £31,067)
Role Details – 37 hours per week, full year. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
