The Private Sector Housing Team undertakes mandatory functions to ensure housing standards within Ashford remain safe for all its residents.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in promoting and protecting public health by improving housing conditions across the private rented sector.
Responsibilities
* Investigate housing complaints, carry out inspections, and work with landlords, tenants and partners to raise standards and deliver better health outcomes.
* Administer housing grants and loans.
* Support energy efficiency initiatives.
* Help bring empty properties back into use.
* Enforcement work.
