As a Support Manager in a care home, you'll help lead front-of-house and care support operationsensuring a warm, professional environment for residents, families, and staff while upholding high standards of service, safety, and compliance.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting and coaching care assistants and front-of-house staff
* Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services
* Assisting with rota planning, shift coordination, and workload prioritisation
* Welcoming and supporting residents, families, and visitors
* Managing day-to-day communication, including handling the duty phone
* Supporting with opening/closing procedures and ensuring the environment is safe and welcoming
* Monitoring care supplies and equipment needs, raising issues proactively
* Ensuring rooms and communal areas are prepared and maintained to high standards
* Checking daily care routines and documentation for accuracy and completion
* Maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and care regulations
* Assisting in the smooth running of inspections and large-scale events
* Delivering a compassionate, respectful presence during high-pressure situations
Working Pattern: 2 days out of 7 / 8 hours per week / 4 hour shifts
