Year 5 Teaching Assistant - Part-Time (Thursday & Friday)

This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils at a key stage in their education, working closely with the class teacher to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. You will play a vital part in supporting pupils both academically and socially, helping them to reach their full potential and thrive.
* Location: Great Bookham, Surrey
* Contract: Long-term temporary position
* Days: Thursday and Friday (term time only)
* Hours: 08:30-15:30
* Pay: £84.05-£90 / Day (Inclusive of 12.07% Holiday Pay)
About the Role
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
* Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning.
* Assist with classroom management and the preparation of resources.
* Provide pastoral support to pupils, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
* Be a positive role model and contribute to a warm, inclusive school environment.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience working with primary-aged children (ideally Key Stage 2).
* A calm, patient, and supportive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility and reliability.
* A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
* DBS on the Update Service.
* Driving Licence and access to a car.
