Seeking a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist for a maximum part time 0.85 FTE with a premier general hospital on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island. Position Highlights 0.85 FTE post in a large, secondary level, 400-bed accredited public facility providing acute and elective care for a region of over 176,000 people. operates air retrieval service provide consultant led antenatal, gynaecology and colposcopy clinic services work in Maternity, the surgical wards, operating theatre, early pregnancy clinic and the emergency department a requirement to provide outlying clinics On Call duties include responsibility for labour and birthing, acute antenatal and gynaecological assessments and admissions and responsibility of all inpatient acute or from elective surgery after hours.
