Job Description
The Paid Search Manager is responsible for all aspects of campaign execution, optimisation and evaluation for H&M Global, spanning across an international basis. This role will work with the support of and to support the Paid Search Director whilst directly managing a Paid Senior Search Executive and Paid Search Executive to deliver faultless campaign performance.
You will also be responsible for account management with both internal and external stakeholders such as planners, engine platform representatives and the client and so, must be able to identify new opportunities and potential weaknesses/limitations of strategies, communicating this effectively.
The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience and demonstrate thorough technical knowledge of the major search engine and third-party platforms, being comfortable working to both ROI and budget KPI’s. They will also have strong analytical, writing and comprehension skills to drive excellent client servicing whilst being able to manage workload across multiple product divisions and markets, appropriately prioritising and distributing responsibilities across the team.
Responsibilities:
* Support Paid Search Director to deliver H&M Global paid search campaigns globally.
* Be the go-to person for day-to-day running of the team and campaign planning and delivery.
* Define and develop your team organisational approach: primary point of contact for each stakeholder and overarching client strategy/goal on each region.
* Showcase campaign performance and provide in depth analysis of results with a focus on causation.
* Manage and support 1 Senior Exec and 1 Account Exec, taking responsibility for their progression plans and quality of their output.
* Maintain a strong, positive, open and constructive relationship with the client as well as understand the client’s business and identifying opportunities.
Qualifications
Key requirements:
* We are looking for an ambitious, proactive and curious search practitioner.
* You will be highly organised, able to work independently on projects where needed but also enjoy working within a team that has a strong, collaborative working ethos.
* Having experience within the Paid Search industry, building out an extensive knowledge of the digital landscape and its current challenges (e.g. attribution, measurement) with advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics and other engine and third party platforms.
* H&M’s business will require us to work at a fast pace and alongside multiple stakeholders, so we’re looking for a positive, can-do attitude from someone joining the team.
Not required, but a plus:
* Experienced working with large-scale clients with complex organisational structure.
* Experienced working with retail/e-commerce vertical.
* Experienced working across EMEA, US, or APAC markets.
* Experienced working with App activity (Google and ASA).
* Knowledge of other channels so they can have a full understanding of the digital ecosystem – Paid Social, Programmatic, Remarketing etc.
