*Location: 4 days per week in the Ashford Kent office, by Ashford International Station, 25 mins train from London St Pancras (possible flexibility for Hybrid, but since it's a startup they're hoping for someone comfortable to come into the office full time)
Aquent is recruiting an experienced Brand Development Sales Director to join a dynamic and pioneering start-up in the carbon solution space, where revolutionary ideas are shaping the future of sustainability. Be at the forefront of transforming ethical practices and play a key role in steering pioneering marketing and communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will be finding brands, building pre-sales of credits – very sellable, very engaged to go after brands! A big social media person, willing to travel to see all brands and also preparing to buy and pre buy.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target potential brands for collaboration in carbon credit initiatives.
* Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of brand partnerships.
* Build strong relationships with brands, emphasising the environmental and
* social benefits of our carbon credit projects.
* Lead pre-sales eIorts to generate interest and commitment from brands before
* the oIicial launch.
* Leverage your strong social media presence to promote our initiatives and
* engage with potential brand partners.
* Amplify the brand message across various platforms to increase awareness and
* interest.
* Travel to meet with potential and existing brand partners, fostering strong
* connections.
* Showcase projects and initiatives in person, creating a compelling case for
* collaboration.
* Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop eIective strategies for
* selling carbon credits to brands.
* Contribute innovative ideas to enhance our brand development and sales processes.
* Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive brand growth and market penetration, aligning with the overall business objectives and brand positioning.
* Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for brand expansion, understand customer needs and preferences, and stay ahead of industry trends.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster brand loyalty, secure new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, setting clear goals, and objectives, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Develop and implement eIective marketing and promotional campaigns to enhance brand awareness, visibility, and reputation in the marketplace.
* Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, analyse sales data, and generate regular reports to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
* Develop and manage sales budgets, allocating resources eIectively to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets within the approved budgetary constraints.
* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to brand development and sales strategies, and incorporate relevant insights into the sales approach.
Experience:
* A great attitude is key, we’re looking for someone with a proven track record of outstanding delivery in a start-up environment.
* Extensive experience in a brand development and sales senior role.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to drive
* brand growth.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
