Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of an Occupational Therapy Health Care Assistant/Support Worker (OTA/OTSW/HCA) Band 2-3 to join the Specialist Dementia Frailty Mental Health Unit based out of Epping in Essex. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
The post holder will be involved with the design, planning, delivery and evaluation of a range of therapeutic programmes for both individuals & groups of clients, within the Specialist Dementia Frailty Service. They will be delivering these programmes to clients within a wide range of settings including the clients own home. The role will involve assessing, evaluating and reporting on client responses to therapeutic programmes and documenting this on our clinical record system. The post holder will be working alongside Occupational Therapists and other members of the Multi-disciplinary Team, as well as working independently in the community and planning and prioritising their own caseload. The post holder will also be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £11.16 - £14.16 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
