At Vodafone UK, we believe that through collaboration and connection with our colleagues, we can achieve great things. Our hybrid working approach allows our people to work both in the office and at home, providing the flexibility and resources you need to succeed in your role. We don't require you to be in on specific days; instead, we ask people to come into the office 2-3 days each week, on average 8 days a month. Our “Office in a Box” home working kit will provide you with everything you need, no matter where you are.
Who We Are
At Vodafone UK, diversity isn’t just a buzzword; it is core to who we are as a company. We’re proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work and are committed to driving inclusion for all; creating a workplace that is fully representative of the communities and customers we serve.
Join us at the heart of Vodafone UK in Corporate, one of the central support functions that underpin our business and keep us moving forward. We provide centralised support, expertise, and guidance across our UK and Group operations, continuing to build on our success and trailblazing the way to our next stage of digital growth.
What You'll Do
* Provide legal and strategic support on all aspects of our partner agent programme and Indirect sales channels, including B2B contracts and projects that support the Consumer Business Unit’s future retail strategy.
* Draft correspondence and documentation, such as dealer and distribution agreements and amendments.
* Provide in-life contract support, working closely with the Indirect channels to support their strategic priorities.
* Support transformation activities to drive continual improvements, adopting self-serve as appropriate.
* Provide ongoing training to ensure key stakeholders engage as efficiently as possible and in a way that manages key legal and regulatory risks.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders across business functions to ensure issues are resolved quickly, escalating to Senior Counsel/Lead Counsel where appropriate.
* Ensure the Consumer Business Unit understands what is required to comply with relevant law and regulation and deliver succinct and precise advice and risk-based reports to stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.
* Keep up-to-date with recent legal and regulatory developments and emerging legal issues that could affect VUK’s operations, advising the business accordingly.
* Collaborate effectively with other parts of Consumer Legal, UK Legal, Corporate Security, Compliance, Regulatory, and Group Legal.
* Work with the Consumer Legal Team to deliver excellent commercial and pragmatic legal advice and support to the Consumer Business Unit, embodying the ‘Spirit of Vodafone’.
Who You Are
* Experience as a commercial or consumer lawyer in private practice or in-house.
* Ideally (but not necessarily) experience across a variety of retail partnership agreements.
* Experience in advising on consumer law and regulation in the UK would be helpful but not essential, as would a general understanding of privacy, employment, and intellectual property laws.
We encourage applications from candidates who may not meet all criteria but are passionate about the role, as inclusion is a core value at Vodafone.

We offer an excellent remuneration and bonus package, up to 28 days holiday entitlement, and a comprehensive benefits package including employee discounts, retail vouchers, pension plans, and share schemes.
