Care Home Manager – Nursing Home

Up to £70,000 per annum + 20% Bonus + Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading care provider for an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to lead a well-established, medium-sized nursing home in Maldon, Essex with a Good CQC rating.
Reporting to the Regional Director, you will take full responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred nursing and residential care.
The Role
You will have overall accountability for care quality, safeguarding, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, financial performance and team leadership.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading the delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing care

Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
*
Overseeing care planning, medication management and clinical standards
*
Managing budgets, staffing levels, rotas and agency usage
*
Driving occupancy and maintaining strong relationships with families, professionals and local stakeholders
*
Embedding robust safeguarding, quality assurance and health & safety systems
*
Recruiting, developing and performance-managing a high-performing multidisciplinary team
About You
*
Proven experience as a Care Home Manager within a nursing home setting
*
Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical compliance
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Care (or equivalent)
*
Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN preferred
*
Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance
*
