Your new company
We are seeking an experienced Housing Officer for a 3-month temporary assignment within the Scottish Borders area. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) based primarily in Selkirk, with travel to tenants' homes and properties across the Central Borders.
Your new role
Managing rent arrears and supporting tenants with payment plans.
Handling housing allocations and lettings processes.
Overseeing tenant and estate management, ensuring properties and communities are well maintained.
Using housing management software to maintain accurate records and case notes.
Hours: 8:45 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break).
Location: Office-based in Selkirk with regular property visits.
Mileage: Paid for travel between Selkirk and tenant properties during duties.What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in housing management.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Ability to pass a Disclosure check.What you'll get in return
£22 - £23.69 p/h (PAYE) + Mileage
