Overview
A Bid Manager with several years' experience bidding in a Technical Service environment predominantly in the Defence sector will take on a customer facing role, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid life-cycle process. The successful Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where you'll focus on Defence and Security, working primarily with the MOD.
Qualifications
* A Degree qualification ideally in a technical discipline.
* Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding.
* Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence / MOD.
* Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents.
* Experience of client contact.
* You must either hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance
Responsibilities
* Managing the full lifecycle of bids including support to Contract negotiation.
* Preparing and delivering compelling bid content and documentation aligned with customer requirements.
* Management of government frameworks.
* Liaising with legal teams on bid information.
