Role Details:
This role will work with a wide range of diverse people across the wider project site and external stakeholders to ensure effective and timely stakeholder engagement.
This role will work closely with major programme leads and team members to forward plan activities that require the project team input and to embed and maintain robust and effective governance and reporting arrangements, ensuring the correct SMEs at the right level participate in discussions and information gathering to enable effective decision making and investment prioritisation.
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with major infrastructure programmes and key stakeholders at the project site to establish the following:
* Robust governance arrangements across / between infrastructure programmes, ensuring alignment with wider naval base activities and governance arrangements, striving to minimise the time spent in meetings
* Engagement, governance and reporting processes to ensure a coherent approach and alignment with the strategic vision
* Improved Stakeholder Engagement on infrastructure activities across the project site.
This includes, but is not limited to:
* Establish and enact an Infrastructure Stakeholder Engagement Plan that ensures, inclusion, collaboration, opportunity, coherence, innovation and clarity across current and planned infrastructure activities
* Create a stakeholder map(s) for infrastructure related activities
* Create a forward plan of activities that require SME / stakeholder input.
These include, but are not limited to:
* Routine meetings (online, F2F)
* Presentations
* Formal Boards
* Site visits
* Collaboration workshops (onsite, offsite)
- Provide regular updates to AHISG and senior management on engagement events (completed, scheduled, forward plan), articulating the purpose, outcomes, benefits, risks and other key points.- Implement efficient and effective ways of communicating information across the project community.
Key Requirements:
* MS O365 proficient.
* Programme management / governance management experience.
* Excellent stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Organised with ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.
Other Key Points
- Security - The incumbent of this role must be a minimum of SC cleared and a sole UK national.- Working arrangements – The incumbent of this role must be able to do hybrid working with the ability to attend the site up to 2 days per week and / or to meet business needs, as requested. There may be a requirement to attend meetings in other locations (e.g. Glasgow) to support business needs.
