Job Title: Customer Engagement Officer
Salary: £31,361-£34,845 pro rata (depending on experience)
Location: Home based with occasional travel across our geography to attend customer events and to our Worcester/Solihull offices as required
Basis: Permanent, Part Time (17.5 hours per week). We are currently recruiting for a Customer Engagement Officer to join our team at Platform Housing Group, on a part time basis working 17.5 hours per week and we're flexible on when those hours are worked. You will have an opportunity to have a real impact and ensure our customers' voices are heard.
Overview
The Customer Engagement Officer will be responsible for enhancing, promoting and managing the involvement of customers in making decisions about their homes and communities, and co-designing the services offered by Platform Housing to put customers at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with involved customers to help improve our services and use a range of communication tools to engage effectively with wider communities and external partners
* Develop relationships with key service areas and departments to embed a customer centric approach, supporting colleagues to effectively engage customers
* Maintain a consistent approach to logging customer engagement across the Group in a way that can evidence impact and value
* Work with Customer panels to carry out reviews of the effectiveness and impact of the customer engagement initiatives and make recommendations for future development
* Participate in occasional travel to our offices for collaborative team working days, approximately once or twice a month, and attend events as required
Key Requirements
* Previous experience of working in a Customer or Community Engagement role
* Experience of facilitating customer engagement initiatives – including leading meetings, focus groups and community events
* Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework relevant to Housing
* Experience of designing effective communication materials for customers
* An ability to communicate effectively with internal or external stakeholders
* Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle due to occasional need to travel to Platform sites
* DBS check carried out before commencing employment
