Our client is an education-based organisation inManchester is looking for a self-starter and driven Part-Qualified ManagementAccountant to join their team.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsiblefor;
1. Work with various stakeholders with all financialplanning, budget and forecast processes and consolidating results for theirareas, meeting with budget holders as appropriate.
2. Prepare and review themonthly management accounts, provide insightful management information andfinancial analysis and deliver to tight deadlines
3. Assisting in the preparation of the costing andfinancial aspects of business plans for new and current developments and activities
4. Seek opportunities to continuously improve proceduresas necessary to adequately support the business activities
5. Produce monthly and other ad hoc financial reports andensure that these are distributed to the relevant Budget Holder and that appropriate actionis taken where necessary
6. Responsible for ensuring that financialreconciliations are undertaken on a timely basis, as required
7. Oversee preparation and inputting of journals
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
Working towards a recognised professional accountingqualification ( CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience
Experience of working within finance in a large,complex organisation demonstrating ability to work collaboratively andproactively across organisational boundaries
A high level of proficiency in using Microsoft Exceland other financial software
An ability to work independently and as part of a team
An ability to communicate effectively with variousstakeholders, both verbally and in writing
