Cheshire Pet Medical are currently looking for a small animal Veterinary Graduate to fit into their busy first opinion practice. The successful candidate will be working with and will receive plenty of support from our experienced team. The role will consist of a mixture of consulting, medical workups and surgery. We always try to nurture areas of interest for all our Vets.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our modern, forward-thinking clinic, with staff who are dedicated to offering the best care to the small animal pets of Cheshire. We strive to be the leaders in our field for staff well-being and are committed to improving our practice sustainability.
Facilities include CT, ultrasound, in-house blood analysis, digital radiography, dental radiography, multiparameter monitoring, and a purpose-designed feline clinic. We are based in a semi-rural location, on the outskirts of Sandbach, Cheshire, near M6 motorway links.
Meet like-minded professionals
Our team and our lovely client base make this practice. Altogether we have 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 10 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Receptionists, 3 Veterinary Care Assistant and 2 Admin staff. We also have a visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon with Cert Small Animal Orthopaedics FRCVS, as well as Nurse certificates in anaesthesia, ECC, medicine, surgery & feline medicine.
Step into a supportive start
Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 4 days per week. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. The rota operates Monday to Friday inclusive. In addition, you may also be required to participate in a weekend rota and/or an out of hour.
