Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Online Sales Account Manager to drive growth across our key e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our online retail partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can identify opportunities, optimise product listings, and execute promotional plans to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will be the primary point of contact for our online accounts, ensuring our brands are represented to the highest standard and that our commercial objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
 * Manage day‑to‑day relationship with key online retail partners, acting as main point of contact for all commercial and operational matters.
 * Develop and implement joint business plans with online accounts to drive profitable growth, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility.
 * Create and manage promotional calendars, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure all activities deliver a strong return on investment.
 * Regularly analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify insights and opportunities. Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
 * Work closely with the Key Accounts team to ensure all product listings are optimised with high‑quality content, images, and keywords to improve search ranking and conversion rates.
 * Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure optimal stock availability, manage forecasting, and minimise out of stocks.
 * Identify and onboard new online retail partners that align with our brand strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
 * Proven experience in a similar role, such as E‑commerce Account Management, National Account Management (with a strong online focus), or Digital Sales.
 * Direct experience managing major online retail accounts.
 * Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable negotiation and influencing skills.
 * Highly analytical with proficiency in interpreting sales data and using it to drive strategy. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
 * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
 * Self‑motivated, highly organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
 * Experience within FMCG, Pet Supplies, or Pet industry preferred.
 * Familiarity with digital marketing principles, including SEO, PPC, and online advertising.
