Kendon Rope & Twine is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the business as a Sales Outreach Data Apprentice. With roots dating back to the mid-19th century and operating from a 70,000 sq ft site in West Yorkshire, the company is a market leader in supplying ropes, twines, tarpaulins, securing & lifting equipment, and laundry essentials to customers worldwide.

In this role, the apprentice will work with data from systems such as ERP, CRM, and sales reports—using Excel and other tools to clean, organise, and interpret information. They will produce reports, spot trends, and support decision-making to improve business performance. The role also includes engaging with clients by phone, processing orders, and responding to enquiries.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data and Business Insights qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Collect and analyse data from internal systems such as ERP, CRM, and sales reports to support business operations.
* Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to clean, organise and interpret datasets, applying techniques like pivot tables, filters and formulas.
* Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights on sales performance, customer behaviour, and campaign results.
* Identify trends and patterns in data to help improve productivity, cost efficiency and overall business performance.
* Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure accurate data collection and support informed decision-making processes.
* Engage with existing clients by phone to support sales and campaigns.
* Process client orders and respond to general enquiries.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
* Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
* 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
* Confident with computers and basic software.
* Comfortable speaking on the phone with clients.
* A team player who takes initiative.
* Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4 in GCSE English.
