Head of Assets and Projects.
Salary: £72,500 per annum.
Location: Remote.
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week.

A bit about the role
In this newly created permanent role of Head of Assets and Projects, the successful candidate will hold a pivotal role in ensuring that Action for Children's assets are managed effectively, while overseeing various projects aimed at enhancing our growth as an organisation.
Whilst supporting our growth, this post will also include leading the planning, execution, and oversight of all asset-related activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
In this role, you'll be responsible for
* Leading the development and implementation of asset management strategies across the charity.
* Managing the acquisition and disposal of properties.
* Applying comprehensive project management processes.
* Conducting regular project reviews and report progress to stakeholders.
* Managing leases as well as managing the Landlord obligations as a landlord and with landlords and local authorities.
* Monitor financial performance of assets and projects.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety requirements and industry standards.
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
Let's talk about you
* Qualified Chartered Surveyor (RICS) with a Relevant Project Management qualification.
* Proven and demonstrable experience in asset management.
* Demonstrable knowledge and application of legal matters relating to property acquisitions.
* Demonstrable and established project management skills to manage property acquisitions and related tasks.
* Demonstrable organisational and time management skills.
* Demonstrable experience of budget and financial management.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
