Overview
Trainee Toolmaker, Gloucestershire, Negotiable. My client is an established and successful engineering / manufacturing client providing precision engineering services and manufacturing pressed components to a variety of industries. They are looking to add to their team and succession plan for the future. The client is keen to find somebody eager and keen to pursue a career in press tool manufacture.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining and refurbishment of production tooling CNC & Manual Turning and Milling.
* Maintaining, repairing, modifying and production new press tools.
* Controlling stock levels of press tool spares.
* Generating spares lists with the relevant controlled drawings ready for manufacture.
Hours
Working hours are: 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 1pm Friday. 25 Holidays.
Qualifications / Candidate
The successful candidate will be looking for a career in toolmaking, you could be a recently qualified apprentice or perhaps a machinist looking to move into a new engineering discipline.
