This is a full-time, on-site role in Leicester for a skilled MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician. The role involves conducting MOT inspections in compliance with DVSA regulations and completing vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a variety of vehicle types, including cars, trucks, and coaches. Additional day-to-day tasks include fault finding, conducting routine maintenance, ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards, and completing associated documentation accurately and on time. The candidate will also be required to follow strict safety and quality guidelines and assist in ensuring the efficient operation of the workshop.
Qualifications
* Knowledge and certification in MOT testing, as well as a good understanding of DVSA regulations
* Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and routine maintenance
* Skills in fault finding and problem-solving to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
* Ability to complete administrative tasks, such as updating service records and inspection reports
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
* Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Current valid UK Driving License, preferably including categories for larger vehicles
* Experience working with coaches is an advantage but not required
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
