Would you like to be part of something new and exciting? Do you have the skills to play a critical role in supporting the education and learning of our students?

Corseford College is seeking to appoint a Tutor to deliver learning programmes as part of our curriculum to students.

As a Tutor, you will play a critical role in ensuring students' success at the college. You will work alongside Lecturers, the Head of College, and the student support team to ensure that all learning is personalized and delivered according to each student's learning and support plan.

Corseford College is a specialist college providing post-school education for individuals with complex additional support needs. The college supports young people aged 18-25 who have left or are leaving school, helping them prepare for adulthood and continue their post-school learning journey.

The college is built around eight principles:

2. Supporting each student as a unique individual
3. Providing a curriculum to develop skills and transition into adulthood
4. Ensuring lifelong learning and education accessibility
5. Enabling students to make informed choices about their learning pathways
6. Recognizing and building on prior learning and achievements
7. Using innovative and progressive teaching methods
8. Supporting learning with assistive technology

Ideal candidates will be confident, ambitious, and caring, with experience working with young people or adults with additional support needs. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.

The role involves delivering programmes in areas such as STEM, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Health and Wellbeing, Creative Arts, and Independent Living Skills.

Details:

* Hours: 37 hours/week, with part-time, full-time, or relief options available
* Location: Corseford College, Inchinnan, PA4 9LH
* Closing date: 12th Aug 2025
