Warehouse Operative Plymouth | £13.51 per hour | Shift work: 2 weeks 6am - 2pm followed by 2 weeks 2pm - 10pm | 37.5 hours per week | Temporary to permanent Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern and busy manufacturing company in Plymouth, who is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a forklift licence to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a physically demanding role, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with lifting. Key Duties: Unloading delivery vehicles and checking incoming stock against shipping documents. Identifying discrepancies or damages and signing for deliveries accordingly. Accurately picking and packing orders according to special instructions. Preparing shipments for dispatch and loading/unloading outbound vehicles. Managing order requirements in a timely and organised manner. Inputting order details correctly on delivery service provider portals. Ensuring stock accuracy through careful handling and documentation. Requirements: A forklift licence. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar manual handling environment. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately. Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently. Team player with a positive and reliable attitude. Interested?
