Our client are a small, well established freight forwarder based in Chertsey who due to recent expansion have a new role available for a Part-time Tele-Sales Executive. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills; both verbal and written English and good admin/IT skills. Ideal candidate will have some sales/tele-sales experience and any previous industry freight/shipping or logistics knowledge would be advantageous. The hours are totally flexible to suit the successful candidate.
Responsibilities Required for the Part-Time Tele-Sales Executive
* Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
* Answer questions about products or the company
* Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
* Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
* Enter and update customer information in the database
* Take and process orders in an accurate manner
* Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
* Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
Requirements and skills
1. Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
2. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
