Salary: £40,000 to £50,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role as a Business Development Manager working for a national children and young people's charity. Reporting to the Head of Public Fundraising, they are looking for a commercially minded individual who can lead on income generation for National Services, to support in the growth and commercialisation of their products. You'll be ambitious and keen on new business, building a strong pipeline of partners to drive income for the charity.
To be successful as the Business Development Manager, you will need:
* Substantial and demonstrable track record of working successfully with businesses in a development capacity
* Good, demonstrable knowledge of the commercial sector and how to access decision makers
* Ability to work independently, using own initiative and creativity, where required, in particular in developing offers and tools
