Job Description
1. Analyse customer requirements.
2. Create electrical schematic drawings for EOL diagnostic hardware using EPLAN.
3. Create 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for EOL diagnostic hardware using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
4. Create RFQs for third-party vendors.
5. Coordinate with and guide third-party vendors to build the EOL diagnostic hardware.
6. Perform on-site testing/validation and deployment of EOL diagnostic hardware.
7. Preparing for and participating in plant launches of EOL test systems.
8. Work at customer premises to resolve issues during installation and commissioning.
9. Author and deliver customer training.
10. Prepare related design and user documentation, (user requirements/design specification/hardware validation, user guides)
11. Provide effective communication with the customer as required
Qualifications
Essential:
12. At least 2 years’ experience of electrical hardware design in an industrial environment.
13. Demonstrable experience in using electrical schematic drawing tools,, EPLAN or similar.
14. Demonstrable experience in using 2D drawing tools,, AutoCAD or similar.
15. Demonstrable experience in using 3D drawing tools,, SolidWorks or similar.
16. Demonstrable experience of electrical control panel design and manufacture
17. Awareness of electrical safety standard and testing.
18. Work conscientiously and responsibly, have good learning and communication skills.
19. Be able to work under pressure, alone and as part of a team.
20. Good written and oral English.
Desirable:
21. Knowledge of the principles of vehicle diagnostic communication protocols (, DOIP and CAN) and related automotive diagnostic standard requirements.
Education:
22. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, electro-mechanical, automation or other relevant discipline.

Travel requirements:
Occasionally, depending on project needs, the successful candidate may be required to travel in the UK and internationally, for both customer meetings and technical meetings with Bosch colleagues.
