The Role:
Our client is currently looking for a passionate and qualified Nail & Beauty Tutor to deliver City & Guilds qualifications as part of their study programmes. In this role, you will teach the Introduction to Nail & Beauty Sector course, supporting young learners to gain practical skills and industry knowledge.
As the Nail & Beauty Tutor you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor learner progress, and ensure high-quality teaching and assessment that leads to strong achievement rates.
Nail & Beauty Tutor - Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning
* Develop effective schemes of work that support individual learning needs
* Create engaging lesson plans and group learning activities
* Deliver inclusive teaching through effective differentiation
Teaching & Learner Support
* Deliver curriculum-based training to individuals and groups
* Set clear objectives and targets for learner achievement
* Provide one-to-one support where required
* Encourage, guide, and support learners to achieve their goals
* Manage behaviour effectively within the learning environment
* Mark work, maintain records, and ensure learners are assessment-ready
* Track attendance, progress, and learner development
Monitoring & Quality Improvement
* Follow the education inspection framework and company quality standards
* Maintain accurate learner records using CRM and ePortfolio systems
* Participate in monthly caseload reviews and standardisation meetings
* Undertake Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
* Embed safeguarding, Prevent, and learner wellbeing into all delivery
* Work closely with the Quality team to maintain high standards
Team Collaboration
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure learners progress to positive outcomes
* Build relationships with external organisations supporting learners
* Attend team meetings and share feedback to improve delivery
Essential Requirements
* Level 3 or above in Beauty Therapy
* PTLLS/CTLLS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
* GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above or equivalent)
Desirable
* DTLLS / Cert Ed / PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification)
