Job Details
Salary: £24,796 pro rata
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only
Working Pattern: 29.75 hours per week, 9.30am to 3.45pm each day (with a half an hour unpaid lunchbreak), plus an hour from 5-6pm for the weekly staff meeting on a Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm.

In this role, you will work as part of a small team to contribute to the care and development of babies aged 0-2 years, ensuring their safety, happiness, and overall well-being. You will ensure that the highest standards of care and safety are met at all times and that children's development is optimised.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Baby Room Lead to implement secure routines to promote a calm, organised atmosphere in the baby room, where babies' needs are met.
* Implement engaging experiences, based on children's fascinations and interests to promote the very best opportunities for learning and development,
* Ensure the safety and hygiene of the baby room, following all health and safety procedures.
* Build strong relationships with children and their families, feeding back information about children's progress and development.
* Monitor and assess individual children's needs and progress in order to plan for their next stage of development, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience in working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Passion for early years education and child development.
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
