Overview
We are seeking a proactive and approachable Student Liaison Officer to join Eastern Education Group. In this key role, you will maintain a visible presence across the One Sixth Form College and Stone Lodge Academy, engaging positively with students to promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. You will be responsible for fostering positive behaviour, supporting student wellbeing, and responding calmly and effectively to any issues that arise on campus, at bus stops, or during break and lunchtimes. You will use de‑escalation and negotiation techniques to manage conflicts, monitor access to the site, and work closely with staff, external agencies, local businesses, and the Police Community Support Officer to build strong relationships and a supportive environment as well as producing accurate reports to record incidents and support decision-making.
The successful candidate will bring excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, a strong understanding of safeguarding, and good report‑writing abilities, along with experience of working with young people in a variety of settings. Educated to Level 3, you will be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to use your initiative while working within Eastern Education Group policies and procedures.
