We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with a passion for excellence within the delivery of patient care, to join our Team of Nursing and Medical Staff on the Mersey Regional Plastic Surgery Ward at Whiston Hospital. Professional development is supported within a friendly, dynamic team structure.

Main duties of the job
* Maintaining a service that patients want
* Continuous review of the service
* Working alongside ward staff to ensure seamless care is maintained
* Supporting patients in the home environment, via telephone
* Home visits
* Managing own case load
* Working closely with Consultants
* Decision making
* On call system
* Problem solving
* Liaising with other members of the MDT
* Work closely with Skin CNSs
* Service Development
* Referral to outside specialities

* Specialist Regional Services — We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.

* 1st level Registered Nurse
* Nursing Diploma or equivalent experience
* Recognised teaching qualification or equivalent experience
* Evidence of post registration study/development
* Recognised leadership qualification/training
