We are seeking Site Engineers to join our client's team at Peterhead on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting out, monitoring earthworks, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Setting Out & Surveying:
Accurately set out works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
Carry out as-built surveys and provide precise measurements for construction activities.
Earthworks Monitoring:
Oversee and monitor earthworks operations to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Record and report progress against project requirements.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed site diaries and daily records of activities.
Update and manage Inspection Test Plan (ITP) documents to ensure quality control.
Site Coordination:
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.
Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all works meet required specifications and standards.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly
Qualifications & Skills
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of earthworks and civil engineering principles
