Job Role
Highly Specialist Sensory Occupational Therapist (Band 7: £49,387 - £56,515). 15 hours per week, Permanent. This role is part of the Children’s Expert Team and works across Kirklees, supporting children in mainstream, virtual school settings and Woodley Special School.
Responsibilities
Deliver and embed high‑quality sensory occupational therapy support within Woodley Special School and/or support children with sensory needs in mainstream and virtual school settings, depending on experience and interests. Work closely with education providers and partner agencies to ensure coordinated, child‑centred care for children and young people up to age 19. Shape your working pattern around your needs and potentially increase hours as the team grows.
Qualifications
Appropriate professional qualifications in occupational therapy with experience in sensory therapy for children. Must be able to demonstrate right to work in the UK. Sponsorship not available.
