Do you have the skills and interest in helping people aged between 18-64 presenting with their first episode of psychosis? We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist with experience in providing CBT-based interventions for psychosis in adult mental health settings.
You will join a friendly, supportive, highly skilled, and committed multidisciplinary team that delivers evidence-based interventions. As a team psychologist, you will work innovatively alongside other team members to provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to adults with mental health problems and their families in the community.
The role also involves providing supervision, formulation, consultation, and supporting MDT colleagues to develop their competencies in applying psychological ways of working with service users and their carers.
The Trust recognises the need for developing psychological therapies across the workforce and offers a Trust-wide training program. Psychological therapists have excellent access to further training and Continuing Professional Development opportunities, including CBTp training and supervision skills training where appropriate.
You will be expected to participate in service evaluation and audit, contribute to service development, and support co-production projects and initiatives. We value creativity and holistic approaches to mental health care within the team and encourage innovative ways of working.
Enthusiastic and adaptable, you should enjoy working both independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team. You need to have knowledge and skills in providing CBT for psychosis interventions and an interest in teaching and supervision to MDT colleagues.
