Role overview
We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community. This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, via temporary and fixed term contracts as and when they arise. You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE. This is not a self-employed tutoring/self-employed teaching position.
Responsibilities
* Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
* CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access
* SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child
* Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources
* Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals
* A Role with Purpose: Join a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people for the better, support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).

* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
* Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
* Experience and qualification requirements: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
Qualifications and compliance
* Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
Location and terms
* Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
* Salary: Chathill, Northumberland - £28 - £35 per hour
* Contract type: Temporary/Fixed-term contracts; paid via PAYE
