This is a hands-on, high impact role for a driven and passionate Grounds & Greenkeeping Manager, who takes real pride in creating exceptional outdoor spaces. You are the champion of first impressions, shaping landscapes that inspire, impress, and perform all year round. You’ll lead from the front, combining technical expertise with energy, creativity, and a relentless eye for detail. From vibrant planting schemes to integration of robotics to seasonal transformations and keeping the golf course pristine – you’ll set the standard and motivate others to succeed it. What we are looking for A natural leader with a smile and the energy to inspire teams and lead by example. An eagle eye for detail, taking pride in strong presentation and consistency. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised, with the ability to plan ahead, prioritise and adapt to changing conditions. Someone to join us in pioneering our transition to automation of greenspaces. Resilient and hands-on, comfortable in making decisions and taking ownership of tasks to completion. A strong communicator who can engage positively with colleagues, contractors and key-stakeholders. Someone who is commercially aware, understanding how quality, efficiency and cost control work hand in hand. Previous experience in greenkeeping & grounds management. Essential Qualifications & Experience NVQ/SVQ/GMA Sports Turf Management Level 3 or higher (or equivalent) Relevant experience and training certification to enable use of machinery. Demonstrable leadership experience within a grounds or greenkeeping team. Full UK Driving licence Understanding and competence with all regulatory compliance, including COSHH, PSSR, & LOLER. Desirable Spraying certificates (PA1, PA2, PA6) for pesticide application. CPS/A58/A59 Digger Training (or equivalent) Chainsaw certification (CS30/31) and arboriculture awareness.
