Working Pattern: Mon - Fri 9am-3.30pm
Location: Ambleside, Cumbria (Covering two scheme : Rowan Court Ambleside 20hrs per week & Gowan Lea Burnside 10hrs per week)

The difference you will make as Retirement Living Co-ordinator
To facilitate the coordination and delivery of a professional service to Retirement Living customers across a designated area, in line with care and support performance standards. To provide an effective provision and delivery of services, facilities and housing management and day to day monitoring of service level agreements with partners whilst working as part of a staff team committed to ‘best practice’ in the social housing sector.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
1. Relevant Experience of working with older and vulnerable people.
2. Experience of housing management duties.
3. Experience of liaison with agencies/partner organisations.
4. To demonstrate IT Skills to include a basic proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel as well as a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Care and Support; and complete relevant IT training where required.

Role Profile
10. Ensure occupancy targets are met through letting and refurbishment of properties
11. Meet rent collection and arrears targets
12. Monitor the delivery of service contracts across designated schemes including lifts, heating, fire equipment, gardening etc
13. Provide practical support and information to customers when entering the services and throughout their involvement with the service. assisting customers in the completion of occupancy agreements and welfare benefit claims and liaison with benefit agencies
14. Deliver high standards of housing management and ensure the service is meeting best practice by conducting regular site inspections across all schemes
15. Monitor and reduce anti-social behaviour within services
16. Clearly communicate customer responsibilities and tenancy compliance
17. Work with colleagues to maintain good links with the local neighbourhoods
18. Effectively use appropriate IT systems including housing management systems and maintaining professional and timely records
19. Assess potential customers housing needs in consultation with relevant agencies and the customer in terms of their suitability to access the service
20. Ensure that the Riverside Health and Safety policy is fully implemented at designated schemes and ensure customers are aware of the provision of security at schemes
21. Provide information to assist new customers on services within schemes and local communities
22. Promote customer involvement at the schemes and working collaboratively with the Health and Wellbeing Team.
23. Encourage customers to participate in events, activities and the running of the schemes and promote integration into the local community
24. Coordinate the lettings process to minimise void levels. This will include; application of the voids procedure, implementing the allocations policy, maintaining the scheme waiting list and lead on promotion and marketing of the scheme
25. Travel across the designated locations to deliver an effective service
26. Observe the Riverside code of conduct and maintain the highest standards of professional integrity
27. Provide a high quality, customer-focused service, championing the Riverside Service Style Practices
28. Ensure compliance with Riverside’s Equality and Diversity policy, in respect of employment and service delivery

Other Duties
32. You will be required to work flexible hours to meet customer and business needs, which may not include normal office hours.
33. You will be required to travel to different properties within the defined area as and when required.
34. Use the Lone Worker system as and when necessary.
35. Ensure customers are safe at all times - carrying out all of your duties within Riverside’s Policy and Procedure Policy and Procedure framework. health & safety, safeguarding, dignity at work, GDPR opportunities, cash handling, etc.

Additional Information
40. The Group has offices across the UK and on this basis, there may be the requirement to travel to other locations to effectively perform this role.
