Working primarily in C++, applicants with strong C skills will be considered. The successful Software Engineer will bring a good academic background to include a minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electronics with a software bias.
Key requirements for the Software Engineer (Embedded Linux) include:
C++ development skills or Embedded C with a willingness to learn.
Strong experience working with Embedded Linux.
Using Linux build systems.
Previous involvement in the set-up / configuration of Embedded Linux systems.
Exposure to networking protocols.
2+ years commercial Embedded software development experience.
