Job Description:
The Emergency Department has a 34.1 hours part-time, 12-month fixed-term Band 3 post available. Applicants must have 2 years of HCSW experience in an acute area.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undergo training specific to the Emergency Department. As a valued team member, the EDA works closely with nursing and medical staff within the department. Applicants should be able to work in a busy, sometimes stressful environment and use their initiative. Computer skills would be helpful.
We are a busy department seeing the full spectrum of patients with illness and injury, covering all ages; approximately 20% are paediatric. We prioritize teaching, have a strong team ethos, and a drive for continued improvement.
