We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail and sales management, with exceptional leadership and communication skills. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. Your ability to manage a diverse team while maintaining high standards of merchandising and organisation will be key to your success in this role. This is an exciting opportunity to not only manage two shops but also play a key role in shaping our future retail expansion.
Duties
* Supervise daily shop operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff and volunteers to achieve sales targets.
* Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and appeal.
* Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
* Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is replenished in a timely manner.
* Oversee administrative tasks including scheduling, and reporting.
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
* Utilise strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience
* Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of successful team management.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Demonstrated experience in merchandising and visual display techniques.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Administrative experience is beneficial for managing shop operations smoothly.
