Overview
Teaching Assistant - SEN (Primary). Location: Wembley. Start Date: ASAP. Contract: Full-time / Long-term (potential for permanent).
Responsibilities
* Support primary-aged children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and social/emotional needs.
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to encourage engagement and progress.
* Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
* Help to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support children with social skills, emotional regulation, and personal development.
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working with children, ideally within SEN or primary settings.
* Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong, positive relationships.
* Resilient, proactive, and able to adapt to the needs of different learners.
* Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training) are desirable but not essential.
