About the Head of Geography Role:
ANZUK are working with an excellent school that is seeking a dynamic and passionate Head of Geography to lead a thriving department from September 2025. Geography is a popular subject at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students and staff alike. Key Responsibilities of the Head of Geography Role:
* Lead and manage the Geography department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
* Develop and implement a challenging and engaging curriculum that fosters curiosity and geographical awareness.
* Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment and achievement.
* Support and mentor staff within the department to encourage professional growth and best practices.
* Contribute to the wider school leadership and uphold the school's values and ethos.
