Randstad Education is seeking motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our busy supply team across Leeds. We provide essential support to a huge variety of primary schools, and we need you to help us make a difference.
Job Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be the ultimate classroom all-rounder. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting individuals or small groups of students to ensure they understand and engage with their lessons.
* Assisting the class teacher with classroom management and the preparation of learning resources.
* Fostering an inclusive environment where children of all abilities feel supported and encouraged.
* Adapting quickly to different school settings, from EYFS through to Key Stage 2.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Essential: You must have previous UK experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting.
* A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
* The ability to build quick rapport with children and staff in new environments.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to process a new one).
