Job Description
1. Estimate from both concept designs and complete designs
2. Assist design team with budgetary pricing at various stages in design development
3. Completion of all aspects of project bidding including plan and specification takeoff, vendor contact and tracking, bid form completion, pricing, bid review and submission
4. Scope and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy and completeness
5. Assist with the development, updating and implementation of an estimating database with assemblies
6. Assist or lead the process of implementation of estimating program software system
7. Maintain a cost history data base
8. Review estimates with design team and/or construction team
9. Interact with clients and design team as needed to evaluate conceptual and detailed estimates
10. Assist Project Manager with project budget set up once projects are awarded

The Successful Applicant
11. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field
12. 5+ years in General Construction or Concrete Estimating
13. WitEst experience is a major plus but not a requirement
14. Ability to estimate multiple scopes
15. Team-player mentality
16. Desire to grow career in Mobile area
