This is an exciting, newly created post within the Crawley Assessment and Treatment service. We are looking for a Specialist Grade (Psychiatry) to join the medical team. The post holder will provide senior medical input to the team.

Main duties of the job
* Assess patients, conduct risk assessments, and formulate treatment plans.
* Be available to the MDT for consultation and serve as a senior medical resource alongside consultants.
* Assist in supervision and teaching of junior medical colleagues.
* Participate in weekly CPD sessions and benefit from our supervisory structure, including regular job planning, review, and evaluation.
* Engage in service improvement initiatives and research collaborations, such as the hearing voices clinic and HDAT audit.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
* MBBS or equivalent
* GMC registration with a license to practice
* Minimum of 12 years' medical experience, with at least 6 years in relevant specialty roles
Desirable
* Higher degree in medical education, research, or management
* MRCPsych and other clinical qualifications
Eligibility
* Section 12(2) MHA 1983 approved or achievable within 6 months
Transport
* Valid UK driving license or alternative evidence
