We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Cheshire East Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) Team. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive rate of £39 per hour on an umbrella basis, allowing you to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families within the community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload and ensuring that the welfare of children is prioritized in every decision made.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
* Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
* Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure coordinated support for children at risk.
* Providing guidance and support to families to promote positive outcomes and safeguard children.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant experience working within a CIN/CP team or similar setting.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
